Tax Partner, Joe Doloboff, Joins Sheppard Mullin Century City from Ernst & Young

Joseph M. Doloboff has joined the Century City office of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP as a partner in the Tax, Employee Benefits, Trusts and Estate Planning practice group. Doloboff was most recently a partner in the Transactions Advisory Services Tax Group at Ernst & Young in Los Angeles.

At Ernst & Young, Doloboff was primarily responsible for growing the transactions tax group from 8 professionals to over 45 professionals in less than five years. He also advised middle-market companies on mergers and acquisitions. Doloboff was previously a partner at Skadden Arps and head of the firm's West Coast tax practice. He was the lead tax partner in a variety of deals, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, underwritings, and securities offerings, ranging in value from $50 M to $24 B.

Doloboff graduated, cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1985 and earned a B.A., phi beta kappa, from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1982.
