Litigation & Transactional Universities

If you decide to become a litigator, you will attend Sheppard Mullin's Litigation University.  "Litigation U" is held once a year and consists of two days of seminars covering topics such as depositions, brief writing, pre-judgment remedies and oral advocacy.

Sheppard Mullin's Transactional University is also held annually.  During two days of seminars, beginning lawyers in the transactional practice groups are instructed in negotiation and drafting skills, and also receive substantive training in mergers and acquisitions, corporate due diligence, tax fundamentals and real estate finance.
