Craig H. Wendland

Craig H. Wendland is an associate in the intellectual property practice group of the firm's Del Mar Heights office.

Areas of Practice

Mr. Wendland has dedicated his practice to the representation of life sciences and high technology clients in a variety of intellectual property matters.  Mr. Wendland's primary practice focuses on intellectual property litigation involving biotechnology, the high sciences and other emerging technologies. 

Mr. Wendland's litigation experience includes representation of life science, computer science, Internet-based and other high technology companies in patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and commercial disputes.  Mr. Wendland has experience in litigation document preservation, electronic discovery and motion practice.

Mr. Wendland's transactional practice involves the acquisition, transfer and protection of intellectual property rights in the context of mergers and acquisitions, technology transfer agreements, patent and software licensing transactions, development and research collaborations and marketing agreements.  

Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Mr. Wendland worked for a number of years in research, production and management in the field of biotechnology.
