Courtney Mathes

Ms. Mathes is an associate in the Corporate Securities Practice Group in the firm's San Diego office, and is a member of the firm's Healthcare Team.

Corporate Securities Law

Ms. Mathes has experience relating to general corporate securities law, including advising privately held companies with respect to corporate governance issues, and matters relating to the formation and operation of various business entities. Ms. Mathes has also been involved in negotiating and drafting documentation related to mergers and acquisitions, and corporate financing. Ms. Mathes represents clients in diverse industries such as aviation, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, sales, and engineering.

Healthcare Law

Ms. Mathes' healthcare law practice has included working on corporate transactions involving healthcare entities, such as mergers and acquisitions, affiliations, partnerships, physician employment agreements, medical group governance, and general corporate counseling. In addition, Ms. Mathes counsels healthcare entities in connection with healthcare regulatory and compliance issues, including compensation arrangements, services agreements, and federal and state fraud and abuse issues, including Stark, Anti-Kickback, and PORA.
