Meredith A. Jones

Meredith A. Jones is an associate in the Construction, Environmental, Real Estate and Land Use Litigation Practice Group in the firm's San Francisco office.

Areas of Practice

Ms. Jones represents owners, developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in litigation, arbitration, and mediation involving public and private construction projects.  She has negotiated, litigated and arbitrated numerous disputes concerning hospital, bridge, commercial and residential projects.  Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Ms. Jones was an associate in the San Francisco office of Thelen, Reid, Brown, Raysman & Steiner, LLP.

Second chaired bench trial in Alameda Superior Court, resulting in favorable settlement agreement for trust beneficiary.

Represented owner and obtained terminating sanctions disposing of general contractor's $5 million claims based on general contractor's persistent discovery abuses.
