Areas of Practice

Mr. Mathews practices in the area of commercial lending, workouts and restructurings mainly representing financial institutions. His practice includes: single lender and syndicated senior secured financing, acquisition and working capital loans; sales and liquidations of assets; and problem loan workouts, restructurings, foreclosures and bankruptcies.

Represented the administrative agent with respect to $55,000,000 syndicated secured working capital revolving and term credit facilities in the U.S. and Canada for Celadon Group, Inc. and its affiliates
